Tanya Kopps is Managing Director of Finance of Makro Cash & Carry Spain, which is part of the German METRO Group. METRO GROUP is one of the most important international retailing companies: Some 280,000 employees from 180 nations are working at over 2,100 outlets in 33 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. METRO Cash & Carry is an international self-service wholesale retailer. It is the largest sales division of the German trade and retail giant METRO AG.

Tanya Kopps, a native American, has been working for Metro Cash & Carry for the last twelve years. Her current areas of responsibility include Controlling, Finance & Accounting, and Information Technology.  Prior to Spain, her professional life include various international stages in Germany, Romania, the UK and Hungary.

In 2011, she also represented METRO Group in the German Testimonial Campaign under the slogan "We put our trust in female leadership."
